Boone native Brian Greer recently joined LifeStore Bank as a Commercial Loan Officer. “We’re excited to have Brian join our team. He will provide local businesses with the necessary products, services and technology, but most importantly he will be available as a partner to achieve their financial goals,” commented Joedy Eller, Chief Banking Officer.

After graduating from Watauga High School and earning many accolades in Track and Field and Cross Country, Brian attended NC State University and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Political Science. He began his career in financial services in 2008 and held numerous positions including Business Lending Manager where he was responsible for small business lending and portfolio management for nine branches in the Raleigh market.

“I am excited about being in Boone and I’m looking forward to building relationships within the local business community. It’s great to be back in the mountains and closer to family and friends,” commented Brian. His father Mack Greer lives in Boone. His mother Wanda Scott retired as Watauga County Register of Deeds and splits her time between the North Carolina coast and the mountains.

“Brian’s knowledge of the Boone area, combined with a strong business banking background will be an invaluable resource to LifeStore and our customers. In addition to being a top producer he brings experience in management and coaching.” Eller added, “We are very pleased to have him on board.”

Brian and his wife Kelly live in Boone. He is planning to enjoy the many outdoor recreation activities here and get involved in the local community.
