LifeStore Announces 2018 Scholarship Winners (Watauga)
Watauga High School graduate Cameron Bolick was awarded a $1,000 LifeStore Merit scholarship. LifeStore awards these scholarships to a graduating senior based on a combination of academic achievement, financial need and extracurricular activities.

Cameron’s parents are Shawn and Cindy Bolick of Blowing Rock. She has been a softball player through school, lettering her four years at Watauga High School. Cameron was also named Best of Preps Softball Player for Watauga High School. While at Watauga, she was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Arts Honors Society and Athletes for Good. She has been involved in a number of community service projects including Empty Bowls and the Hospitality House. Cameron will attend Appalachian State University and major in either Biology or Elementary Education. Cameron’s parents are Shawn and Cindy Bolick or Blowing Rock.
In addition to the Merit Scholarship, LifeStore awards a scholarship for the children of LifeStore employees who continue their education after high school. This year, the scholarship recipient was Audrey Smith, daughter of Deanne and Chad Smith, LifeStore Investment Advisor Representative. Audrey has been active in Watauga High School Playmakers as well as many community theatre productions. Audrey’s high school involvement includes: Beta Club, National Honor Society and Key Club. Audrey plans to follow her interest in theatre and study both Film Studies and Communication Studies at UNC Wilmington.
