5 Ways LifeStore Bank is Keeping Customers Safe as We Re-Open Our Lobbies

On March 20, LifeStore made the decision to close our lobbies to the public to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The two months since have been spent closely monitoring the situation and developing new strategies to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and the community while serving customers through the drive-thru and contactless options.

Starting June 4, LifeStore will move forward with a phased opening of our Boone and Mount Jefferson locations with new procedures that follow state and national recommendations. Below, we highlight 5 ways LifeStore is working to keep our customers safe as we re-open our lobbies.

  1. Meet the Greeter: Upon entering our customers will be greeted and if wearing a mask, they will be asked to lower the mask long enough for us to identify them.
  2. Look for the Signs: Our customers will notice new signs on the floor to indicate where they should stand to ensure the recommended 6 feet of social distancing while they wait. There will also be signs for newly designated “enter” and “exit” doors. Customers will also notice a sign on the front door asking anyone with COVID-19 symptoms not to enter.
  3. Shields: Our employees will assist customers from behind clear, plexiglass shields which provide a barrier from the virus.
  4. Sanitizing: Our employees will wash their hands or sanitize between customers. We will also encourage our customers to utilize the hand sanitizing stations provide when they enter and exit.
  5. Daily Health Screenings: To protect everyone, LifeStore will conduct daily health screenings for employees upon arrival.

Bonus Step:

Contactless Service Options: We understand that not all our customers may feel ready to enter a public lobby to conduct their business. That’s why we continue to encourage use of our contactless service options to make deposits such as Online Banking*, 24/7 ATMs, and mobile deposits with the LifeStore Bank mobile app*. See below for the updated hours for each location (as of Thursday, June 4)
